Snoe S Skin BB Vitamin - Spell Bindingly Good

Whenever I drop by Glorietta, I can't hold back my feet from going to Snoe.  They have a mind of their own.  I wanted to  go to Landmark yet my feet would drag me to their kiosk in Cinderella. Really, it was not my fault.  Snoe knows whenever I'm around and pulls me to the direction of their store. Cross my heart! LOL!

So grudgingly, my body followed the direction my feet wanted to go to.  I was just lazily browsing and testing their products and one of the products that caught my fancy was the Snoe S Skin BB Vitamin.  I was ready to dismiss it as something that I would not really need.  However, when I learned that the price was only 249 Php, I had to grab it.  Other BB creams actually retail for about 500 Php and up
The first BB Cream I've ever tried.

Sorry for the crappy photo

For the longest time, I've veered away from cream or liquid face products because my face tends to be an oil mine at the middle of the day.  What I love about this product is that it has a thick consistency. Despite of this, it still glides on the skin smoothly without tugging. Another plus for me is that it does not contribute to the oiliness of my face.  If anything, it even actually keeps the oil at bay.

This, partnered with my trusted Maybelline mineral foundation gives a flawless finish.  I like how it is able to lighten my scars and conceal my zits. I've put this baby to the real test this week.  I accidentally left my trusted foundation in the province.  I'm on my 4th day of using this product without the mineral powder and so far so good.  My face did not oil up at all.  I think it's even better than Maybelline mineral powder in terms of oil control.  I also love the fact that I was able to use this while I was jogging last week.  This product was able to hold up despite the sweat and oil. It did not "melt" at all.  Truly this is amazing!
3 Hours after initial application.  This was taken inside the mall.

This was taken under natural light at 3PM.  This is the effect 4 hours after initial application.  Please note that  I did not dust my face with any finishing powders. Oh, please excuse the eye bags as I've only had 3 hours of sleep.

It's only lately that I've come to realize that this product actually has SPF  30.  I was too amazed at how it was able to perform in the oil control department that I've overlooked its top benefit.  This is actually part of Snoe's Sun Protection Line.

The only con I could think about this is that during the first 3 days of using this, I've experienced a few small bumps on my face.  I guess that was my face's way of acclimatizing to the new product I'm applying on it.  I'm not worried about this though because the zits and bumps have dried up thanks to my ever trusted Beauche Exfoliating Cream.  Some people might also be turned off by the white cast that this has on the face. That's because of the SPF in it. However, as the product dries on the skin, it will eventually blend with your natural tone.

To be honest, I actually picked the wrong shade (Shade1), which was the lightest among the 3 colors available.  I should have picked Shade 2 as this was a bit cooler than shade 1.  No biggie though, I'd like to believe that I still don't look like I have a Kabuki Mask on despite this boo boo.

Can you tell that I've been using this daily?!  Consistency is thick which is adorable!

Holy Grail Verdict:

Effectiveness: 4/5  Gives medium coverage and maximum oil control

Price: 7/5 Need I say more? It's only 249 Php and you can check out Snoe counters and FB page for amazing deals!

Availability: 5/5 This is always available in any Snoe kiosk/store

Shades Available: 3/5 Those nitpickers might want to have more colors available.  This only comes in 3 shades.  However for me, I'm one happy camper.

Please check out Snoe's fanpage as they have on going promotions for their products.

  1. Thank you for this review. I love San San's BB cream, but it makes my skin oilier. Very annoying. So I might purchase this when I run out. It's only more expensive by P100, but it also contains 10mL more.

How can I follow your blog? I can't seem to find any follow options, haha. We have the same skin type (oily) and same hair (curly and rebonded), so I'd really love to read your future reviews!
