Beauche Exfoliating Cream - Poor Girl's ProActiv

I've always had problematic skin.  It tends to flare up if I don't get enough sleep or it's that special time of the month.  My skin care range widened as my pockets became deeper so to speak.  In highschool, I used to wash my face with Perla (the laundry soap).  In college, my regimen was a concoction of calamansi + evaporated milk applied on the face 15 mins before sleeping.  If I'm suffering from really cystic acnes, I'd apply calamansi overnight.  I also used to be an avid fan of Bench Spots gel before they decided to discontinue it.

When I started working, even on a starter's salary, I used Proactiv.  My face was loving it. Problem was my wallet was not.  Imagine, for a set of 50ml., I'd pay 2500 a pop and it would only last me a month.  To keep up with this regimen, I acquired an SM advantage card to at least earn points for my every purchase.  I was also on the look out for beauty sales at Watson's.

I grew tired of spending this much for my face.  I noticed that it somehow got dependent on it.  When I'd run out of it, bumps would soon start to appear.  It was then that my best friend introduced me to Beauche Skin Care line.  She told me that this was the skin care line that flight stewardesses use.  I decided to give it a try.

Beauche is proudly made in the Philippines. It also ships internationally.  It was the brainchild of an ambitious and innovative homemaker named Conchita "CHE" De Los Reyes. Beauche is actually a contraction of the words Beautiful and Che - hence the brand name.

I found my Holy Grail Skin Care Item in the Exfoliating Cream.  It's priced at 200 Php.   What I love about this is that not only can I apply it on my face, I can also use this for my bacne.  I slather this on my back a week before attending a special event. This exfoliating cream dries up my pimples FAST. A fully grown, cycstic acne will dry up in 3 to 4 days. Minor bumps (whiteheads) will dry up overnight. If I feel that a zit is threatening to pop out, I apply this to prevent it from fully developing.  This does not sting my face either.  

The exfoliating cream is actually a part of a skin care line.  This  targeted to acne/blemish prone individuals.  The set contains Kojic Soap, Clarifying Solution, Skin Toner, Rejuvenating Cream, Age Eraser Cream (Sun Block) and Exfoliating Cream.  Some of the products are meant to be used in the evening and some during the morning.  

A word of caution to my readers though.  Please test first how your skin will react to this.  It is also imperative that you use this sparingly as this would really dry your skin up. It is drying to the extent that the skin on the finger I apply this with is actually micro peeling right now.  It is imperative that you use a sunblock when going out.  Use your favorite moisturizer as well to keep your skin hydrated.

I'm glad I got to know Beauche.  This definitely is a poor girl's Proactiv but I think it works just the same.

Price:  10/5   At 200 Php a pop, how could you complain?

Availability:  4/5  Beauche kiosks are like mushrooms sprouting everywhere. The most recent one I saw was in Megamall.
